What is an LSP?

A person who provides professional language services to D/deaf and non-deaf people to aid communication and bridge the barriers that exist due to linguistic and cultural differences.

These professionals are:

BSL(British Sign Language)/English Interpreters

Deaf Relay Interpreters

Deaf Translators

International Sign Interpreters

Deaf/Blind Manual Interpreters

SSE (Sign Supported English) Transliterators

Lip speakers

Speech to Text Reporters or Palantypists

Electronic and manual notetakers

All the LSPs we provide are fully qualified and registered with the RBSLI, (Regulatory Body for Sign Language Interpreters and Translators), or NRCPD, (National Register of Communication Professionals with Deaf and Deafblind People), or SASLI (Scottish Association of Sign Language Interpreters).

We do not supply unqualified people, therefore you can rest assured that the service you purchase is of the highest standard available. We carefully select the individual service providers, thereby ensuring that not only are they qualified to provide the service but, they are also right for your particular event. We require all our professionals to be Disclosure and Barring Service checked.

If you have an event you would like to ensure is accessible to D/deaf people then there is an online booking form for your convenience. Click here

We offer competative rates, often inclusive of charges, so the price we quote is the price you pay*

As our staff are Deaf, we prefer contact either through our contact us page, online booking form or via email.

*Depending on location of venue and LSPs.
